lecture programme
A guest lecture programme was
arranged by the Head of the department of chemistry on 22nd January
2018.The programme started by 2.30pm in conference Hall. The guest lecturer
Prof. Dr. Justin Thomas, IIT, Roorkee, is an alumini of our esteemed
institution, Nazareth Margoschis college.The programme started with an opening
prayer by Prof. Dr. R.Jeevi Esther Rathnakumari. Prof. Dr. J.Janet Sylvia Jaba
Rose, HOD of Chemistry gave the welcome address. Prof. Dr. Justin Thomas delivered
an inspiring motivational talk to the students. He
discussed about goal setting, attitude of the students towards learning
process, importance of library, book reading habit and the importance to
have a destination. He also advised the students to attend the competitive
exams like GATE and JAM examinations. He discussed the advantages of having higher
education in institutions like IIT,IISc. The session ended up with the closing prayer by Prof. Dr. J. Sudha
Philomina.
